2019 Bond Issue

$14,875,000 bond issue, the purpose of the bond issue is to construct a new seventh- and eighth-grade academic center to include a cafeteria and safe room, and a new two-story high school classroom building with a safe room in the high school courtyard.  Also with this bond, new digital marquees were purchased and installed for the front of the elementary schools as well as the 7th/8th grade center and high school.  Parking lot improvements were made between the Bob Lee Kidd Center and high school gymnasium.  New entry doors were installed on the North side of the high school for additional access for the fire department in case of an emergency.  New carpeting was installed at the primary school in the kindergarten and 1st grade buildings.  A security door was installed at the upper elementary beside the main office area to limit access to classroom hallways. Epoxy resin flooring was installed throughout the main building at Pansy Kidd Middle School.
