I love to teach history and I take very seriously the trust that is placed in me to teach the next generation.  I hope my enthusiasm for learning, teaching and sharing history and social sciences will inspire my students.  I grew up in Hartshorne and my first teaching job was at Tulsa Edison in the late 90s.  My wife Suzanne and I have been married since 1997, moved to Poteau in 2000 and we have three children, two have graduated from PHS and one is a junior.  I enjoy running and biking.   I also love to travel.  I enjoy the national parks and long distance backpacking.  I also enjoy traveling the world in search of adventure, knowledge, and learning about new cultures and sharing that with students.
