Exporting Your Old Address Book
You MUST use Internet Explorer for this task
Log into: https://webmail.onenet.net
Password: new default gmail password. If you have changed your password already you will need to use the default password given to you to access your old email account only.
Click on Address Book (bottom left corner)
First you will need to move the contacts you want out of your Corporate Directory into your Personal Address Book if you do not have them saved there already.
Click on Corporate Directory
Click the box located to the left of the name you want to select
Once you have selected the names you want to merge with your personal address book click Copy To
Personal Address Book
Click to highlight Personal Address Book
Click the box at the top by the Display Name. This will automatically check everyone in your personal address book. note: this task will take a few seconds to process
Click the Import/Export tab drop down.
Select Export: Microsoft Outlook as csv
Save As: (default file name: export.csv) save this file in a location you know where to import it from. I recommend the desktop
Your are now finished and can log out of your old email account.
Sign into your Google Account page:
Click the Google Apps icon in the top right corner
Click Import Contact tab
Click Choose File
Browse or Choose File for the export.csv file you just saved
If you had groups set up in your Convergence email account they will not be brought over with your contacts in your Gmail Account. You will have to set them up again.
